With an active internet connection from any device, a click on the Remita logo to generate the Document Identification Number (DIN/RRR) now integrated into the TaxPro-Max website platform, taxpayers can now pay their taxes, file returns, and do more at their convenience, anywhere.

This development is coming on the heels of a recent collaboration between SystemSpecs through its Remita Payment Gateway and the Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS to further consolidate the ease of paying taxes in the country, simplify the system and track tax payments real-time.

It is also expected that the partnership between SystemSpecs and FIRS will promote the digitalization of tax administration in Nigeria. Tax Payers are expected to register online via www.taxpromax.firs.gov.ng or visit the FIRS tax office nearest to them to get onboard on TaxProMax.

This move is in line with FIRS’ current agenda to further add ease to the tax administration, making it fully automated.

More Functionalities to Note

  • The online payment option captures both the private sector, government ministries, departments, and agencies, allowing automation and tax filling on the go.
  • The new TaxPro-Max e-filling platform was developed to facilitate easy registration, filing, payment of taxes and enable the automated credit of withholding tax as well as other credits to the taxpayer’s account, among other features.
  • For the tax administration, this feature now enables hassle-free registration, a single-view of transaction records.

A statement from SystemSpecs goes thus,

“In furtherance of our support for various sectors of the Nigerian economy, we have now also advanced our brand proposition to ensure that tax payment is faster, more convenient, and efficient. Our latest partnership with the FIRS is geared towards helping individuals, corporate organizations and government agencies enjoy a convenient process of paying their taxes, anywhere and at any time to facilitate compliance.”
